Demonstrators tore down a statue of an architect of Canada’s residential school system after the discovery of 215 children’s remains at a former Catholic residential school in British Columbia. Protesters gathered at Ryerson University in Toronto and pulled down the statue of 19th century educator and Methodist minister, Egerton Ryerson.
